Helsinki Harps Folk Group

We are super excited to have the Helsinki Harps Folk Group at the inaugural Helsinki Irish Festival. This dynamic ensemble comprises musicians from Ireland, Finland, and beyond, united by their passion for Irish folk music. Their performances blend traditional Irish tunes with Finnish and other folk influences, creating a unique and captivating musical experience. The group’s open and collaborative nature ensures that no two sessions are ever the same, as they continually welcome new musicians to join their ranks.

Rosamaría Bolom - Celtic Charms Workshop

Rosamaría Bolom is a Mexican artist based in Finland, known for her vibrant, colorful style inspired by her Mexican heritage. An immigrant, feminist, and transdisciplinary artist, Rosamaria blends creativity with cultural insight, exploring themes of human dignity, identity, and womanhood in a globalized world. Through her art and community work, she brings imagination, passion, and meaningful connection to every project she undertakes.

Inspiral Dance Company Finland

The dancers from Inspiral Dance Company Finland will be appearing at the Helsinki Irish Festival at 17:00, performing captivating Irish dance.

Their work is all about the joy of doing things together creating a light, flowing encounter with the festival audience, moving effortlessly to the rhythm of the celebration.
